How might this idea be pursued further?

I was thinking next year of doing a turn based platformer of the same thing. So you have 1.5 axes of movement - actually 1 of 3 (most of the time).

If that goes well I'll have to figure it out in 1 axis the next year.

Really interesting gameplay in ways that I wouldn't expect! A bit tricky to get a handle on at first, but really cool

Can you explain sin and purity?

Purity is like a reverse XP bar. It made more sense to me as a countdown because you discard your current hero back into the hero deck (but level it up as it goes).

Very neat! At first I was a bit disappointed because it seemed like the obvious mix of classic RL tropes with deckbuilding (yet again!), but the discard cost, the wait cards and a couple other things make it different.
