Instructions
In addition to Health, you and some monsters have Guard, which takes damage before Health. All Guard must be depleted before Health can take damage.
Purity measures how many monsters you can kill before your hero is discarded back into the hero deck (and levelled up).
Mods are status effects, of which you can have a maximum of 3. Permanent mods (abilities) show an "A" instead of the activations remaining, and will restore once other mods have finished.
Your spells / cards have 3 costs: Cards, Turns, and Health (in that order on the card). The school of spell is marked on the bottom: Move spells move you around (or not), Attack spells deal damage equal to your Attack stat, Mod spells apply a mod to yourself, and Care spells restore a stat or provide some other benefit.

Really interesting gameplay in ways that I wouldn't expect! A bit tricky to get a handle on at first, but really cool
Can you explain sin and purity?
Purity is like a reverse XP bar. It made more sense to me as a countdown because you discard your current hero back into the hero deck (but level it up as it goes).
Very neat! At first I was a bit disappointed because it seemed like the obvious mix of classic RL tropes with deckbuilding (yet again!), but the discard cost, the wait cards and a couple other things make it different.
